Windows XP

I have tried to fresh install of Windows XP
on Pentium II 400 mhz 64 RAM.Installation went well no problem.Just in part when program installs devices screen goes black
for a second few times and continues install.When installation complete computer
reboots,but after after you see Windows logo
with running blue indicator screen goes black and computer never boots in GUI mode.
I have tried twice.First time computer was
constantly rebooting.
