Windows XP BETA locked out!!!!

I have a friend who is locked out of his computer after upgrading his Win98 system to the beta WinXP version. He didn’t register it, because he doesn’t have an Internet connection at the time. I was wondering if anyone has found away to get around this nuisance of a problem. Oh by the way I think we all should get together and stand up to Old Bill by adapting a new skill. Oh what skill?
