Windows XP cannot Shutdown

Every time I try to shutdown Windows XP it will automatically re-start. That mean I cannot shutdown the PC using the shutdown the Window using shut down option. The only way for me to shutdown the Window is press the power button.

Any one of you face this problem?
What’s the possible cause and solution?
