Windows XP links/Favorites share

Does anyone know how to make Windows XP use a shared Favorites folder on a LAN ? The idea is to open IE on the XP machine and select Favorites from the main menu, which should show the shared location, any new internet link added from the XP machineis saved to the shared location. I know how to do it for Windows NT, 2K and 95/98 systems via the registry, tryed to do the same with XP but didn?t work.
