Windows XP Media Centre Edition

Got a new laptop came with XP MCE all running ok, works WIFI on to the Net no problems. It’s setup as MSHOME for workgroup, but from the laptop you can only see itself, it has no visibilty of any other PC’s in the workgroup this means at the present time I am unable to Print anything. I know that the ability to Join a Domain was removed on this addition, but I would have thought that it would be able to communicate within a workgroup. Anyone come across this?
