Windows XP Migration Tips

I plan on installing a new system with Windows XP – Home. I also plan on keeping my old system which is running WIN98 until I can migrate everything that is installed on it over to the new XP system. Both systems will be on a home network. Are thereany built in tools in WIN-XP to help with the migration of software applications from the old system to the new system, or will I have to bite the bullet and re-install every program on the new system?
