Windows XP network problem with VPN

I have a home network running Windows 98 and Windows XP Home. All the PCs currently connect to DSL internet service via Linksys router. All the PCs able to share files across the network. Just a few days ago I installed IPsec/VPN software to my Windows XP pc so that I can access to my work from home. However, after the IPsec/VPN software installed successfully. I was able to connect to my work without problem, but all my home PCs no longer able to see each other in the network. If I disable the IPsec/VPN from my pc, then all the PCs can see each other again, but it messed up the IPsec/VPN configuration in my pc and I had to re-install it. Does anyone have any solution s or recommendations on how to solve this problem?
