Windows XP pro in a workgroup file share

1> i upgraded Win2k to XP pro in a workgroup. On the xp PC i can see and open shared files ok on the other PC’s and all of the other PC’s (win98/NT/Win95) can see the XP PC ok but when i ckick on the XP PC it ask for a password for “\\computer name\IPC$” and none of the passwords will let me in. i do not want it to ask for a password. i just need to share the “c” drive to everyone.

2> on the same XP PC i only have one chance to type the password in correctly if i type it in wrong then i haveto wait 20mins before logging again.
