Windows XP Upgarde – Page File Problem

I’ve recently upgraded from WindowsXP Home to Windows XP Pro. After completing the installation, the system continues to tell me that I have no paging file setup. I go in (as a user with administrator profile) and setup the paging file with appropriate mins and maxes, click apply, and the mins and maxes remain, but the paging file always remains at “0”. Rebooting doesn’t help. I’ve tried making the changes in DOS with the appropriate DOS commands, but that doesn’t work either. Am looking forsuggestions.
