wingate or winroute? which is better

just want to ask which one is better to use wingate or winroute?
currently my wingate is running on windows NT 4.0 server with win 98 workstation(20 units) all of them are connected to internet. What is the problem of wingate sometimes it disconnect it self from internet and also the activity went empty and the user service went blank?
im planning to migrate to winroute i already test winroute but it doesnt’ work 🙁 first i disconnect my wingate to activate my winroute but it doesn’t work? any suggestions will surely appreciate
