I have read the article regarding schedule backup using the Internet Explorer 4.0 or 5.0.
We can use the option Schedule Tasks wizard to schedule my WINNT backup.
Let me explain my problem :
Now I have 2 WINNT, one I define as DOMAIN with computer name:DURACO01 and another one is member of the domain with computer name : DUR-BACKUP.
in the DUR-BACKUP I have the tape drive which i can use for the backup purpose but the DURACO01 (DOMAIN) didn’t have tape drive.
So I decided to use the DUR-BACKUP to backup all the data in DURACO01.
I have some questions:
1)How can I perform backup in such condition without purchase any third party backup software?
2)I wish to backup all the data in E: and F: of the DOMAIN, how can I do this?
3)Can I log into the noteserver in DUR-BACKUP and I can see all the data in E: and F:, from there then can we perform the backup? Is it this way possible ?
