I have six Windows NT workstations, v.4.0, sp5 installed in a lab. They have JAWS 3.7 installed and set to run at boot (this is a screen capture program for the blind that reads what’s on the screen). When Word 97 is started I get an application error message from Dr. Watson, exception # c00000fd (stack overflow), and JAWS shuts down. With Win9x, I have been able to increase the stack fault pages in the system.ini file. Can this be done in Windows NT? How do I fix this problem? Once the messageis cleared, the user can restart JAWS and use Word w\out further problem, however, since the users are blind, they don’t hear the error message and don’t know why JAWS has stopped speaking! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
