WinNT4.0 and installing a new printer

Installed a new printer in WinNT 4.0 that is not recognize, what could be the cause?
IEEE cable not used?
OEM.INF file not found?
Parallel port should be set to LPT2 in NT?

I’m taking a test and this question came up on the test…..
