WINS problem

I am currently having a problem with the Windows Internet Name Service (WINS). We have two servers, one PDC, one BDC. On the PDC, we have two NIC cards, one with a WAN address and one with a LAN address (we have Exchange 5.5 SP4 running on it). The WINS manager database shows 11 mappings to this server, 1 mapping (a group) to the LAN address and 10 to the WAN address (2 group, 8 unique).

I have been having problems with Windows XP systems connecting to the Exchange server because XP uses the DNS and WINS servers before broadcasting, thus getting the WAN address, which is wrong. The NT systems on the network broadcast immediately, thus getting the correct LAN IP address.

Is there any way to change the WINS mappings to reflect the proper LAN addresses for this server?
