Why is there no DriveSpace utility in Win XP Pro ?
Having recently replaced my Win98 home PC with one running XP Pro, I am digusted to find that DriveSpace was left out.
As one who regularly takes work home from our small business Win98 PC, onDrive-Spaced Zip-100 disks running Microsoft Briefcase, I urgently need this feature in Win XP.
Does Microsoft seriously expect me to fork-out hundreds of my own dollars upgrading to Zip-250 or Jazz disks ? Yes, I know XP has a remote log-on facility, but our small business isn’t up to this yet.
Come on Microsoft, consider the thousands of Windows users who take work home, and get a DriveSpace version into Win XP F-A-S-T !
