This seems like it should be simple, maybe it is, but I am confused. Here is the scenario. We have set up 2 Windows XP PC’s, both of them were set up using ghost images from a PC that we setup in our lab. We tested what we could before we set them up for the users. But when we brought them out to the users we ran into trouble. We hooked up there local printers, the drivers installed automatically through PNP. But when we try to print a test page we get one of two errors. “could not printtest page, print Queue full” or could not print test page, could not create print job” So we then tested the network printers, and they work fine, no errors. This only happens with the local printers. We also tried downloading the latest and greatest drivers from HP. both the local printers are different, one is a LaserJet 1200 and the other is a DeskJet 890c. We double checked the port the printers were usin also. Both are connected with Parralled cabels. If anyone can help us that would be great. If you need any more Info just let me know.
