Wiping Hard Disks

My bosses are going to sell about 25 computers and want the hard drives included. I know about all the different programs that are out there. The only problem is that most of these computers do not have floppy drives. Is there a solution out there that is able to boot and execute from a cd? I work for my city and there is some sensitive info on the computers. I would like something that is DOD compliant. Thanks in advance.
