i have a new wireless mouse ps2 bought for my friend. on my pc with special ps2 and serial-mouse-port its working on the ps2-port.
on the second pc there is no special ps2-port outside but a slot(round-opening). no port is behind. originally there was a logitech-mouse connected to a special card. i removed it and used the standard com1-port with serial output(plugin). now the ps2-mouse is working on that port with adapter. but wireless-mouse does not work. light of ir-receiver should be lit-onwith pc is working. i have an external parallel+ps2-mouse slot-cable with 2×9-pin(one is off). what can i do more to activate this mouse. its a noname socket 7 plus.board(i could not find it in the ali 1541-list. maybe the company(seen in the list) does not exist anymore. i tried to find the manufacturer over last weekend. but even with the help of others it was impossibly to find, even with ctbios and bios-agent(detect is dos-version)-both did even not show producer of my ga-5aa-gigabyte.
even with knowing whole bios-string bios-search-machines did not recognize it: here it is:

its not the matsonic 6261 because the ide-connectors are built-in the other way round(horizontal instead ofvertical(or at an angle of 90?)-

in other words, motherbord-org-forum could not help. any hints are wellcome(manufacturer or installing wireless-ps2-mouse). i was told there are a lot of boards which need special ps2-adapter from manufacturer.
