Wireless optical mouse

Our VP bought a microsoft wireless optical blue mouse, and for the first month it worked great.

Here we are, a month later, and all of a sudden the initial mouse we bought is going haywire. It randomly moves around the screen setting off events.

We’ve replaced the batteries and I’ve uninstalled IntelliPoint software as suggested by some other users having similar problems. (After some searching, there are apparently a lot of people who are having problems with this mouse.)

Anyway, we’re still having problems. Does anybody have any other suggestions, or can anybody tell me if logitech’s cordless optical mouse is any better?
