I have just installed Windows XP on a new drive (FAT32 format) which is in the master position. The d: drive (also FAT32 format)has Windows 98 and all of my files I want to transfer. I can boot to either drive using the F8 boot menu command. WhenI boot to the WinXp drive the d: drive is found by the bios and is in the device manager but is not visible in the Windows Explorer. If I choose to boot to the Win98 drive the d: dtive is fully available in the explorer? DO I need to do something to the settings to make the d: drive available when in WIn XP?
