Wodows XP Will Not Boot-up

This system is running an AMD 1500 with 256mb pc 133 ram. The systems is new and ran fine until about a week ago. Now it will not bootup at all with no beeps and goes to a blank screen. Can anyone give me some insight on what I have to do to get this system to bootup properly? Any help will be apprciated. Thanks.
