Won’t let me adjust virtual mem settings

I’ve changed memory from 64Mb (133MHz) to 2×128(133). When I try to put my own settings for virtual memory, pressing ‘ok’ and confirming won’t change the settings; I go back into change virtual memory and default option is selected.

drive0 is 1.2 GB [c drive]
drive1 is 8 GB (4 x 2GB partitions) [d,e,f,g]

C drv only has about 50 Mb free, so I’d like to change it to D drv (800 free). Doesn’t windows like swp files on different physical drives?

Any clues?
