wont read CD/DVD after using brush cleaner

I thought it would be a good idea to clean my dvd burner with one of those brush type cd cleaners. well after it played the instructions and said it was done. NOW it cant see ANY disk if its a data or DVD BUT it will play a audio CD…. any ideas.
