Word 2002 and Windows XP

I have one computer and printer that has trouble printing from Word 2002. I installed Word 2002 and then several months later installed Windows XP on this computer. I had to get a new print driver for the HP printer. After installing these, thereis an ocassional problem (doesn’t happen all the time) of printing pages in Word. It looks right on the screen and also in print preview, but the printer cuts off the bottom part of the page. It also will only print about two envelopes and then will give a margin error and will not print any more envelopes. I have installed all Word updates and Windows updates. What could be the problem. This computer prints fine on other printers.
