“Word cannot save file “

1. Create a Word document (using Word -Office 2000) on an NT workstation 4.0
2. Copy the file to a mapped drive on Windows 2000 server
3. Try to edit the same file from the client.
4. Try to save the file
5. Word gives an error saying” Word cannot complete save due to file permission error”

Wht could the problem be ?
