I have an NT4 workstation SP6. I am trying to setup a share for several users to connect to. The problem is I need about 15 to 20 users to connect to this share and it seems that I am only allowed 10 connects at one time. I have tried to make a second share to the same folder with a different name and split up the users for access and still get a message on a users PC that maximum connects reached. How can I get all my users to be able to connect to this share at one time. Are there any limits on an NT workstation as to how many shares are allowed to a folder or workstation. I don’t won’t to put this share on a server because the servers reboot nightly and the files on the share are accessed at all times. Rebooting and loosing connection is not an option.
