Write a text file through a print driver

Is there a print driver for windows98 that will print to a text file automatically when that “printer” is selected. My problem is, I have a proprietary program that will not allow us to export our database data to Excel or a text file, we can only print to a printer. So I was thinking if i could find a print driver that would print to a text file instead of a printer, I could get around the problem.
