Wrong Drive For Win ME

Purchased Maxtor Onetouch 111 USB drive in order to back up Dell notebook (WIN ME)

Oops! Onetouch supports WIN 2000 and above.

Any workarounds short of changing OS? I am not keen on OS upgrades.
