Wrong subnet in VPN connection

by eminent87 . Updated 23 years, 11 months ago

Hi,

I have a simple network with Windows 2000 server and I’m trying to setup VPN, all clients can connect with proper IP address assigned but then the subnet is wrong. I’m using the private IP 192.168.0.xx with a 255.255.255.0 subnet. Instead, I get the subnet of 255.255.255.255. I also tried configured DHCP relay agent too but that didn’t help much. I read somewhere that this type of configuration cannot be done, is this true? If not, can anybody shed some light as to fixing the problem? Thanks!

BTW, I don’t have a router on my network, just Windows 2000 server and a DSL connection.
