WSH Scripts Automate HyperTerminal?

Modem Software such as Procomm come with a script recorder which allows users to automate logon’s, accept user input, and find and upload a file to a local bank.

Can WSH (vbscripts) working with Hyperterminal do the same events?
1. make Hyperterminal run
2. accept user input (total amount to post)
3. run logon script
4. upload a file.
