XP and Hardware Changes

Just swapped motherboards and everything seems to boot up fine, but I lose keyboard and mouse. I am running XP.

I also dual boot to Windows ME, and I do have a keyboard and mouse. What is up with XP?? Is this the issue it has with change of hardware?? Is it three hardware changes and you’re out??
What can I do??
