XP and HP Deskjet 720C Printer

I have a HP PC with XP Ho,me edition and HP Deskjet 720C Printer linked. I tried a lot of solutions wihtout success to made them work together. Sometimes prints the whole work, someones the first page and other just a portion of it and get hunged. CPntavcted HP service and drivres and no oslution up to now
Any solutions at hand
