XP Boot Up

I have an Epox motherboard with an amd 1.2 gig cpu and 512mb memory. My problem is that it takes windows XP several minutes, about 5 min) to boot up. How can I get it to boot quicker? I have used msconfig to elliminate programs but to no avail.
