XP boots up when phone rings

I have a Gateway computer with an internal modem for the fax machine and a cable modem for my internet experience. I also have AOL on my computer. My problem is when ever my phone rings the computer boots up. I don’t know if it is caused by a setting in AOL or if it is related to XP. If anyone has any idea on solving this problem, please help me out.
