XP Crashes Are Unusual

by borginva . Updated 24 years ago

Sometimes my XP Pro on PII, 260M RAM will crash. I can open most ZIP files but on a certain few, I will get the XP version of the Blue Screen of Death and it reboots. However, I can open these files on my 98 system (which is a 75MGZ on 64M RAM).
Not only ZIPs, but other executable programs will crash XP and reboot it, but they work fine on my 98 system.
So my low end system will use these EXEs and ZIPs but not my XP.
Any ideas?
