XP does not boot

Dear alls:

I have a Dell Computer where i installed a Windows XP. It was working fine but suddenly it does not boot any more, even if i want to run in safe mode.

the system keeps sending me a message: unmountable_boot_volume assoiciated with the following information technique:
Ox000000ED(Ox80E32A40, OxC000009C, Ox00000000,Ox00000000)

I would appriciate receiving any hint on how to solve this problem.
