XP Hangs on log ins

Hi

I have XP Professional PC on a LAN. The system hangs for several minutes whenever a particular user logs in. Other users can log onto this PC with no problem. I tried deleteing this users profile and having them log back in and that temporarily solves the problem. A few hours later its back – if this user reboots or turns off the PC it will hang again when he logs on. He is able to log into other machines on the LAN OK.

Any ideas ????
