I have 2 computers that run window 98, which are currently networked together peer-to-peer and using NetBIOS and TCP/IP as protocols. I added another computer that has XP home?Here is the question, I know how to load NetBIOS on an XP machine, whichI am going to try, but I shouldn?t I be able to network without NetBIOS, to the Windows 98 computers, since they have TCP/IP bound the network card. When I tried I could see one of them but not the other in My Network Places. The computer I can see can view all the computers in the workgroup, and other one can only view one I can see on the XP computer. In summary only one windows 98 computer can see all computers in the workgroup, the other two only see this one. I looked at all the TCP/IPsettings and as far as I can tell, they are the same between the windows 98 computers. The only difference between the 98?s is that one of them has Norton Firewall 2.5 installed, but even with it disabled, I get the same result. Any ideas why thisis???.
