XP Pro does not detect Autorun.inf file

I have upgraded my Compaq D500 PC from Win2000 to XP Pro, now it does not detect Autorun.inf file on any of CD-R media. I am logging on as local admin on my stand alone PC, and the CD-Rom device will read any CD-R media when double clincked only, however on Win2000 this was fine.On properties of CD-Rom device,choosing Autorun tab all looks fine, the device has been detected and ok, I have tried couple of ways to find a solution with no results. Anyone, please help.
Should mention that, there is CD-R (Compaq LTN486S) and CD-RW (AOPEN CRW3248) devices connected on the same controller and both operating fine.
