XP Pro network Printer not printing

We are using XP Pro as a server on a small network with 12 workstations. 1 XP, 1 W95 and 10 W98SE. Every once in awhile, the printer quits printing. No error message, nothing really out of th ordinary. THE XP Pro workstation/server says the print job is there but it is not being sent to the printer. Once this happens no one else can print until the offending job is cleared, usually by cycling power to the printer and then restarting the offending print job. Everyone has a proper path \\xpserver\hp4100\printer (example) to the printer attached to the XP. Any ideas?
