XP sees but won’t access drive

I can’t believe I did this to myself. I moved all ny data to the second internal hard disk (NTFS created under Win2K) to allow a repartition and clean install of XP. XP could see the partition sizes but called them unformatted and wouldn’t assign a drive letter. I reloaded Win2K, it sees the partitions, calls them healthy but won’t open them calling them unformatted. Am I SOL or is there hope?
