Your thoughts count as I backup data

This is a small environment with 3 computers Win98, Win2000 and WinXP all need to be backed up. One computer will do the work. I am looing for suggestion to get this job done. Software and hardware suggestion. What is the best way to ge this jobdone? What are some of this things you guys are doing? Time for me to do my research?
