No it does not support NTFS, the HDD's has to be on EXT2.
No drivers needed in order for you to run or add the storage device to your network, it came with an Easy search utility which will help you access and configure the device now if you are not using a router and you only have a switch to network your computers by default the enclosure will give it's self an IP address of 192.168.0.32 to get started on setting it up.

Can you tell me whether this unit can accept NTFS formatted drives ? And do you need to load special drivers in order to see this on the network ?
