  • Good handle

The Classmate has a soft-touch integrated handle

  • Bad handle

The HP Mini has an integrated handle that is not soft touch.

  • No handle

The Latitude 2110 doesn’t have a handle, but it’s easily gripped and has an optional shoulder strap that attaches to dual Kensington laptop locks.

  • Dell Mobile Computing Station - one more differentiator

The Dell Mobile Computing Station is made for the 2100 and 2110 netbooks. Its cord management and docking features allow for easy student handling of the computers.

  • Intel's Classmate - Third place keyboard

The Classmate’s keyboard is good, but struggles to compare with its competitors. And that right shift key is an up arrow waiting to happen.

  • HP Mini 5102 - Second place keyboard

The HP keyboard narrowly missed first place in my book by being just a wee bit too clicky – this is strictly a religious issue, though. You can’t go wrong with either the Dell or HP keyboards.

  • Dell 2110 - First place keyboard

Keyboard…it’s awesome! I write all the time and I’m happy to write all day on this netbook keyboard. See more highlights from the shootout\n on ZDNet Education.
