It's looking whole lot slicker

I see smartphones getting smarter and smarter, but with the advance in technology comes shorter battery life. It may be smart, but not for long! I thought WiFi would be a great plus on a smartphone, but the battery drain is considerable and so I don't find myself using WiFi that much at all on my Android Phone. Lots of nice configurable features, but like an older computer with a new game program it has to be tweaked to run, the phone's features must be constantly monitored and managed to prolong battery life just through a day. Is it worth it? I wonder. My Blackberry Curve lasted me 2 to 3 days on a single charge. Granted, it did NOT have 3G or WiFi, but it just worked. It was slow accessing the Internet, but it got there. My Mail and messages came quickly on CDMA network. So, I'm very disappointed that the battery technology has not advanced as fast as the smartphone technology has.
