    REDFLY Windows Mobile Companion

    While there were very few smartphones at CES in Vegas, there were several ultra portable devices. Intel-powered MIDs (Mobile Internet Devices) are coming in 2008 and there are several prototypes available, along with existing ultra mobile devices. I saw a few new UMPCs, Tablet PCs, and other connected devices that are showing how you can get work done on systems without a full Windows operating system too.

    The REDFLY companion looks like a nice HTC Advantage accessory.

  • Redesigned Q1 Ultra Premium keyboard

    The Q1 Ultra Premium is an upgraded Q1 Ultra UMPC with a new processor and a redesigned keyboard. The keyboard now has rubberized keys, curved layout of keyboard, and more.

  • Lenovo X61 notebook computer

    This is one of the first times I had a chance to use the X61 and I found it much slimmer and lighter than I thought it would be.

    The Vaio G2 is constructed of carbon fiber material and is extremely light. It also comes with a full DVD writer, even though the device is still less than 2 pounds.

    The Panasonic R7 comes in a variety of colors and gives you an ultra portable experience with some unique features like a circular touch pad, 8 hour battery life, and rugged construction.

    The Fujitsu device is a compelling choice with a convertible Tablet PC form factor in a small compact size.
