Splashtop Remote lets a teacher with an iPad take over their desktop which is connected to a projector! So that with a solution like this, we could be saving $1,000 per classroom if we buy an iPad instead of a SmartBoard.

In business/productivity app, Id like to recommend a great one which integrated an interesting concept; saving time from your notes. This app, Beesy, generates automatically ToDo lists from a smart note taking. Also, the advantage is you can easily generate professional minutes from your notes and send them by email. Besides, you can browse your ToDo by actions,projects or people. You save a lot of time at meetings.
I strongly recommend Beesy for people which often have meetings and want to appreciate them again

...but for those ones I didn't, I plan to look into. I live in a country that still does not have 3G, so I am limited to only being able to view network-based apps when I'm on my home Wi-Fi network or one of the very few hot spots in the country.

Specifically, I will be creating a Twitter account today. I didn't realize how important a tool it is. I always viewed it as a social waste of time (touting what you're doing or where you're going for the masses to see).

Your definition of useful is different than mine.
