Microsoft has provided a few screen shots of its forthcoming Office Live Workspace Web extension to Office. The private beta of Microsoft’s answer to Google Docs is due to start soon. In the interim, here’s a look at what to expect.
\r\n\r\nThe file preview capability in Office Live Workspace provides the ability to preview Microsoft Office files, in this case a PowerPoint slide, within a browser.
The event list date and calendar view showcases the ability to create and manage schedules online via the forthcoming Office Live Workspace add-on to Office.
Using the new Office Live Workspace service, users can see a listing of documents/files in their workspace — and the status of each — via the shared workspace projects and programs view.
