News Corp's 'The Daily' for iPad - will people buy it? (screenshots)

I think this is the general idea of where things are headed, whether or not this version is successful.

I remember a website from the mid 90s, where you put in your preferences and it would fetch a number of newspaper columns and daily comics for you on one page. Thats the kind fo intellignce that will make this workable - if they can tailor the presentation to make it so you don't have to scroll through a hundred or more pages daily to find the 4 or 5 things you want consistently.

I wouldn't take it if even if they payed me.
