  • Iomega’s StorCenter Network Hard Drive is available in 160GB and 250GB\r\ncapacities with prices of $200 and $290, respectively.

  • The back of Western Digital’s single-disk NetCenter shows its RJ-45 Ethernet jack for connecting to the network. The 320GB drive costs $330.

  • Seagate Technology’s Mirra lets people fetch information such as digital photos over the Internet when the device’s owner invites them. A 250GB version costs $400, while a 400GB version costs $500.

  • Infrant Technologies’ ReadyNAS NV has four hot-swappable drives, RAID data protection and a maximum capacity of 2 terabytes.
